TabCrew reads the title and URL scheme, host, and path for each HTTP(S) tab.

The gateway adds a fixed instruction, requests groups, and validates every tab assignment.

Move tabs, rename groups, and choose among Chrome's nine native group colors.

TabCrew rechecks the window snapshot. Only the reviewed, still-current plan can change Chrome.

Data-supported, named directly

What TabCrew collects

Chrome extension

Reads the browser locale, tab title, and URL scheme, host, and path for open HTTP(S) tabs.

TabCrew gateway

Authenticates the installation, validates plans, retains minimized usage records, and returns your statistics.

Configured AI provider

Processes the fixed instruction and tab fields, then returns proposed groups.

Browser locale, Chrome tab title, and URL scheme, host, and path. The configured AI provider sees this fixed plan input.

Retained by TabCrew

Minimized titles, hosts, paths, validated plans, and navigation, edit, and Apply events for personal statistics, TabCrew studies, and TabCrew's own grouping models.

Removed or never read

Queries and fragments are removed. Page contents, DOM data, cookies, local files, data URLs, and Chrome pages are never read.

Bounded and deletable

Raw records expire after the stated retention period. Safety matches retain only a count and reason. My stats lets an installation delete its history.
