TabCrew reads the title and URL scheme, host, and path for each HTTP(S) tab.

The gateway adds a fixed instruction, requests groups, and validates every tab assignment.

TabCrew rechecks the window snapshot. Only the reviewed, still-current plan can change Chrome.

What TabCrew collects

Chrome extension

After your agreement, reads eligible HTTP(S) tabs across windows, including their titles, minimized URLs and current group context.

TabCrew gateway

Authenticates the installation, records consent and quotas, validates plans, and returns proposed groups.

Configured AI provider

Processes the fixed instruction and tab fields, then returns proposed groups.

Processed for a plan

Browser locale, tab titles, URL scheme, host and path, and current group names and collapsed state. The extension identifies the AI recipients before you agree.

Retained by TabCrew

Optional counts of plans created, edits saved, tabs grouped and plans applied are stored per installation on the gateway for a 90-day history. Ordinary AI requests do not retain tab content. A separate, optional action lets you review and share selected titles and labels for up to 90 days solely to improve TabCrew grouping, including future training.

Removed or never read

Queries and fragments are removed. Page contents, DOM data, cookies, local files, data URLs, and Chrome pages are never read.

Bounded and deletable

My stats offers 7, 30 and 90-day views of organization activity for this installation. Pause or delete statistics and withdraw AI consent from the extension.
